Projects from a Mystery Card Night with some Stampin' Friends

I attended a virtual Mystery Card night with a few Stampin' Up! friends led by Jennifer Merle-Hamscher.  Check out Jennifer's website https://WhispersinInk.com if you'd like to join us next month!  We use Facebook to connect.

This fun fold card could be made for any occasion, with any products.  I used the soon-to-be-retired Fine Arts Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Jennifer gave us a supply list that included the measurements for the card stock and DSP for all our projects.  The stamped images, embellishments and the rest were whatever we wanted to use.

Jennifer loves to use ribbon on her projects.  I was inspired by her to use 2(!) ribbons on my card.  This Happy Birthday stamp can be found in the Happy Thoughts stamp set.  You see I'm using my favorite technique with the Tailored Tag punch.  The Through it Together stamp set is a great one for this card because the inside flaps are quite narrow.  I used a sentiment from Hydrangea Haven on one flap, too.  When using DSP on the front of my card, I'll often include a narrow strip of it inside my card and put it on my envelope flap, too.

Next we made two 3D projects.  I used Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper for both of these.  First we made a treat holder from a piece of DSP that was 6" X 6".  Using any of our Pick a Punch punches makes the layered sentiment a breeze to create.  Here I used  our Treasured Tags Pick a Punch.

Our final project was a box/bag made from DSP.  I used our Label Me Lovely punch on my project.  The stamps are from Hydrangea Haven.  As a group, we brainstormed what might fit in this 2" X 1-1/2" X 5-1/4" box.  We thought it could hold cash, a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, a bonefolder, candy (of course), nail polish, pens, pencils, etc.  What would you put in it?

Happy Stampin'!
