New Mini Catalog Product Blog Hop- August 2021

I am enjoying these blog hops;  I learn so much from other demonstrators.  I'm sure my Wish List will grow after seeing everyone's projects using new products from the fall 2021 mini catalog and Sale-a-bration!

For both of my cards, I have highlighted the large single flower from the Harvest dies found in the mini catalog and the Textures & Frames stamp set a Sale-a-bration item. I have also used a card sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  It is the 500th sketch they have shared!

You can see other cards made with this sketch here.

My first card is a z-fold card created by scoring an 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" card base along the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4" and 2-1/8".

My decorative piece behind the cone flower die cut was created by stamping on a piece of water color paper with the Textures & Frames stamp set covering most of the paper.  Then I spritzed this piece with water so that colors bled together.

This is the piece before I spritzed it.  I like to leave very little 'white space' when doing this technique.

For my second project I was inspired by the colors in our Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper.  Fall is my favorite time of year--back to school, cooler weather and my birthday, and the deep, rich colors that can be found in nature inspire my stamping.

This is an easel card created by scoring an 11" X 4-1/4" card stock base along the 11" side at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4".  The sentiment inside the card is raised with Stampin' Dimensionals® so that the front of the card can be propped up.

Click on this graphic to see what Julia has created for us with some new Stampin' Up! products!  She actually has 2 cards for us;  one birthday card and one Christmas card.

Here are all the demonstrators who are 'hopping' with us!
