January 2022 Card Kits--Using Strips of DSP

These were the Thank You Card Kits for December and January customers.

I was inspired by the Highland Heather card on the top of  page 8 of the January-June 2022 mini catalog.  What a great use of those strips of patterned paper.  You could also use strips of card stock--plain, stamped or embossed.

I made a few changes to mine:

  •  their card is 3-3/4" X 3-3/4".  My cards at A2 (5-1/2" X 4-1/4") and 4-1/4" X 4-1/4"
  • I kept forgetting to stamp on my card bases.  Sometimes I added it after the card was put together
  • My Cinnamon Cider square card is 4-1/4" 4-1/4".  This will fit nicely in our medium envelopes
  • I changed it up a bit for the Cinnamon Cider "Happy Birthday" card by making an A2 card, changing the orientation, and adding a layer of DSP
For these first 2 cards, I used the Sala-a-bration item, Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper.  See page 4 in the brochure.  I used Blending Brush to color the Thick Basic White butterfly.  Mint Macaron for the Petal Pink card and Pear Pizzazz on the Crushed Curry card.  On the Crushed Curry card, I added Wink of Stella to the Pear Pizzazz butterfly die cut.

To attach the butterfly, use glue dots only on the body.

Your Very Vanilla sentiment strip is 1" wide.  This will fit into any of our Pick a Punch items.

Some other ideas with this card layout:
These use the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper on page 58 of the January-June 2022 mini catalog.

Here are the Pick a Punch punches.  My sentiments are from these sets,
