You've probably heard me say "Let the patterned paper do the work for you." Here are a few ideas using 3" X 4" pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the card sketches I used. For my samples I used Dainty Flowers DSP, On the Farm DSP and Favored Flowers DSP, all available during Sale-a-bration 2023.

For this one, I changed the orientation. Can you see the thin strip I added to the inside of my card? This is a great way to use every scrap.

This is my favorite layout with 3" X 4" pieces. It highlights the DSP.

Sketch #3 uses 1" strips that are cut from the 3" X 4" pieces. Here you have lots of options. Check both sides of your paper.
The cards made with the On the Farm DSP, were made during this video that I recorded on December 19, 2022.
