Are you #TeamOrange or #TeamPurple or #TeamSomeOtherColor?!

You've hopefully heard me mention Craft Roulette.  A FUNN (a Craft Roulette joke, based on host, Mary GUNN's name) thing the community talks about is being on #TeamOrange or #TeamPurple.  Which color do you use more often in your crafting?

I'm not sure which team I'm on personally, probably #TeamPurple (except for fall, when I love orange leaves).  Another demonstrator I follow on Facebook, posted 2 cards that used the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-bration item for 2023.  She asked her followers if they preferred "This" or "That", and I realized that one was orange and the other was purple.  SO.....

Here are my 2 cards.  I used the Happiness Abounds stamp set.  I thought the flowers worked well with the DSP.

I used sketch #36 from Paper Play Sketches. Sadly, they aren't adding more sketches to this website, but there are plenty to keep us busy for a long time!

Here a link to the Paper Play Sketches website.

Looking at the Favored Flowers DSP, I noticed one pattern that had both orange (Petal Pink/Calypso Coral) and purple (Fresh Freesia/Blackberry Bliss) flowers!  I had to use that, too and I made a card based on sketch 28, shown above.

However, I made it into a fun fold card!  I made a top/bottom fold card from a 4-1/4" X 11" piece of cardstock by scoring at 3" from the top and 2-1/2" from the bottom.

You can adjust these 2 scoring lines as long as they add up to 5-1/2".  This leaves 5-1/2" in the center for your standard A2 card.  Fun fold cards are difficult to photograph.  Can you see in the second photo, that my top section of the sketch was cut at 4" X 5-1/4", but only adhered to the top flap?  My lower flap tucks under the oval layers to keep the card closed.

No naked envelopes today!  All 3 have coordinating DSP on the flap!

Sorry, I still use my retired ovals, a lot!  I hope Stampin' Up! will offer a set of nesting ovals again soon.

Are you #TeamOrange or #TeamPurple?

Happy Stampin'!
