Cheerful Daisies Card with Designer Series Paper Z-fold

With our Designer Series Paper (DSP) sale this month, I thought I'd share another card that features a DSP Z fold on the front.

I used a piece of paper that was 12" X 3" and scored it at 4" and 8".  This was centered on the card front.  The smallest rectangle in the Radiating Stitches Dies fits perfectly on the pull out.  A few dies from the Cheerful Daisies and my card was about done.  I used a small Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink to add color to the centers of my flowers.  Finally, I stamped a daisy inside my card and on the envelope.

While my stamps and ink were out on my table, I decided to make another #SimpleStamping card.  Stamps-ink-paper only.  (Ok, I added rhinestones, too.)  Once I took my photograph, I decided I should have added a yellow layer to my card, so I made a 3rd card.  I'm including both simple stamping cards, to show how just adding a layer may be the finishing touch your card needs.

To round the corners of my white layer, I used a circle punch.  This was one of the first non-traditional uses for a circle punch that I learned.

There's the same card with a Lemon Lolly layer.

Try adding another layer to your next project and see if it makes a difference.

Happy Stampin'!
