A Few Ideas for your April/May/June 2023 Thank You Kit

Thank you for ordering from Stampin' Up! during April/May/June 2023 and selecting me as your demonstrator!  I have sent you a kit with hopes that you'll use some of the Stampin' Up! products you ordered to make your card.

The kit includes Thick Basic White card base, a piece of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper and 2 die cuts--'Feel Better Soon' and the coordinating shadow.  If you purchased more than once, I've sent a second kit with 'Happy Birthday' and a third with 'Celebrate'.  The dies are from the Wanted to Say die set.  To fit the DSP in my envelopes, I had to cut off 1/2" from one side.  I've included that piece for you use, too.

Here are a few of my ideas for using your kit.  I'd love to hear what you do with it!

Try adding color to the detailed words and adding flowers (these were made using the Petal Park stamp set and coordinating Petal Park Builder punch).

Add another die, or 2.

Or add color to both the detailed die and the shadow.  Stamp on the DSP.

For this card, I used a Blending Brush and Night of Navy ink with a stencil.  Stampin' Up! calls them masks.  It's the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks (page 136).

I wasn't pleased with the above card, so I added some flowers.  It's better, but....

I think Night of Navy was just the wrong color for the Crushed Curry DSP.  Here I added color to the detailed words with a sponge dauber, and swapped out the Night of Navy for Calypso Coral ink.

I do like white-on-white, but I think the bold DSP is too much for it.  I'll keep playing around and share what I learn.

Happy Stampin'!  and thank you for choosing me as your demonstrator during April, May and June 2023!
