Using the So Refreshing Kit

I know time and space are 2 issues for many paper crafters.  Using kits addresses BOTH of these issues.  Make your own kit using products you love or purchase a ready-made kit from our Kits Collection.

During my Facebook live on Monday, September 25, I shared a kit I made to use with the So Refreshing stamp set.

Se Refreshing Stamp Set (Item 161344, $24,00 USD-page 29 in the 2023 Annual Catalog)
Dies are also available, but I do not use them for these projects.

I limited my color choices to Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, and Shaded Spruce, and a bit of Crumb Cake.  I did add in Lemon Lolly as I mention in my video.

This is what I made during the video.  Adding an inked background using a Blending Brush is a great option if you don't have a lot of cardstock for card bases.

Here I added brown to my white piece that was embossed with the Cane Weave embossing folder.  I just think of outdoor wicker furniture and drinking lemonade on a hot summer (or fall!) day.  Getting the liquid lined up with the glass only took a little practice.  The lemons/limes stamps are so cute!  I had to use orange slices on my envelope since they didn't include a whole orange in the stamp set.

Cutting wide strips of cardstock allowed this card to come together quickly!

Here's another use of both those wide strips and the layers from the very first card!

I found a use for the few scraps I did have!  I stamped on some of them.  To get one set of leaves as on the glasses, I inked only that portion of the leaf stamp using the side of my ink pad.

I used a Blending Brush to add color to the embossed panels on these next 4 cards.

There are flowers stamped on the inside of this card to coordinate with the envelope.

I wasn't sure if the Lemon Lolly flowers would show up on a photo.  You can see them--some.

Another use of those paper strips!  I keep thank you cards quite simple.

So--have I inspired you to create your own kit based on products you have and love?!
Don't be surprised by all the products I used.  They are for all of these cards.
