Christmas Card for October 2023

It's the 25th of the month again!  As with this month's birthday card (posted on the 17th), I used the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper.  This is the product for our Making a Difference program this year.  In the US, for each package sold, Stampin' Up! is donating $3 to Toys for Tots.  The organization receiving the donation varies by market.  If you're not in the US, ask your demonstrator where the funds are being donated.  Together we are Making a Difference!

I needed an Old Olive Heartfelt Hexagon for another project.  I punched it from the center of this card base, so that is how my card started.  I like the bear peeking through the punched shape.  You also see the back of the patterned paper inside the card.  Luckily, it coordinates with the rest of the card--it's Garden Green with tiny, little trees.

The green sprig on the sides of the opening are from the Classic Letters stamp set which is currently available as an Online Exclusive.  I forget about this stamp set.  It would be great to use in other Christmas cards to stamp "JOY" or "NOEL", or to personalize a card.  Young kids would appreciate that most, I think.

Product List
The  gold cord I used is retired, but the Simply Elegant Trim is a current product that I could have used.

I guess I used quite a few products on this card, didn't I?!  Have you started your Christmas crafting?  This DSP has quite a variety of patterns you could use for your holiday crafting.

Happy Stampin'!
