Ideas for Your Starter Kit-May 2024

As I mentioned in yesterday's video, at first I forgot that Stampin' Up! was including the In Color cardstock so I only used Basic White.  THEN, when I added some colored cardstock, I thought my Berry Burst was Petunia Pop.  They are both pink/purple, but they are very different colors.  I must have been either tired or in a hurry.

ALSO, I forgot about the striped trim!  I was so focused on using only these papers and inks that I forgot about the embellishments.  If you watch my video from Monday, May 20, 2024 (FB page or YouTube), I did add the trim to one card after the fact.

While I don't have the In Color DSP, I did have the Unbounded Beauty DSP which also includes all of the 2024-2026 In Colors.

Stamping scraps with the candle was pretty fun.  You know I love stamping the most.  I inked the flame with Peach Pie and the candle itself with all the other inks using the edge of the ink pads.

I'm so tempted to recreate this with Petunia Pop instead of Berry Burst!

This is one of my favorite card in this series!  Use those scraps!

You can add even more texture by embossing the cardstock strips, either heat emboss, dry emboss or even use embossing paste.

This DSP was from the Full of Life DSP pack, not Unbounded Beauty, but it also uses the new In Colors.

Here are a few ideas using a 4" X 3" piece of DSP.  I just varied how I cut it before adhering the my card base.  Adding another layer would add to your card as well.

This is my other favorite card.  Those bees are so cute!

I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I know you would, too!  Reach out if you have concerns or questions.  I wish I had joined sooner than I did!
