I suppose these cards could be sent to older people, too, but I was intending for them to be kids' cards. I found a variety of birthday images to use from a few different stamp sets. I'll include links and photos below. For the boy's card, my colors came from the SU! Color Challenge Facebook group. It's a private group, but you're invited to join us! It's fun to see the wide variety of cards people make with the same color palette.
Here's the card I made during my March 31, 2025 Facebook live.
Having a theme and the colors picked out for me, made my choices easy! I did create a similar card in purples as a test run. I just chose 5 bright colors for that one, as you'll see below.
For this card, my color scheme was Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie, and Petunia Pop. The gems are 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.

This card layout was presented to us at OnStage (convention) as part of our 'pay and play' After Hours event. My fee included the Impressions Abloom stamp set and die bundle, a pack of the 2025-2027 In Color cardstock, a pack of 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls, a pack of White Willow cardstock, an ephemera pack, and a brochure with creative ideas.
These are the 2 cards I shared in my video that inspired today's birthday cards.

If cutting your stamped piece (or patterned paper) into 4 pieces, at angles is too confusing, the card below is a simple version with only one cut. I cut purposefully through the Strawberry Slush flower.
Lots of options! Let the creativity flow!
