I love this sketch! Do I say that every time I participate in this sketch challenge? Creating an opening in a layer to reveal another layer is such a fun element in these cards.
I created 2 cards because I had a list of cards that were needed by the card ministry at a local church. They requested cards for/about pets, a new home, graduation, scouting (like achieving Eagle Scout), general achievements, weddings and milestone birthdays.
First, I featured the Humble Home bundle and Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper. My opening was created by using a die in the Nested Essentials die set.
Colors: Mossy Meadow, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Highland Heather (for the heart), Gorgeous Grape (sentiment)
For this card I used quite a few retired (or retiring) products--sorry-- including Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, Fern 3D embossing folder, Birthday Celebration and Simply Said stamp sets, and Playful Alphabet dies with gold glitter paper.

They are both lovely! I love how you put that little house in front of the beautiful sky. And the second card is just perfect for a 90th birthday! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
