Using Patterned Paper and a Card Sketch for Frugal Friday

Here's the completed card that I started during my Frugal Friday video on May 30, 2025.

The colors are Garden Green and Darling Duckling.  The patterned paper can be found in the Floral Impressions suite, an Online Exclusive.  I used dies cuts from Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and Spotlight on Nature.

Here's this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  I just turned it sideways for this card.

When creating my Frugal Friday videos, I like to show several ideas.  Here are 2 more cards using this sketch.

I used the Loveliest Tree bundle and the sentiment is in the Simply Said stamp set.  The banner is in the Stylish Shapes dies.

On the first card I used Pecan Pie ink and cardstock.  On the second, I swapped it out for Early Espresso.

Here's the video I referenced.

Another way I keep creative when card making, is to challenge myself to not use white or vanilla cardstock on a project.  Was I cheating by using Basic Beige here?!  LOL   Sometimes I'll use Smoky Slate, Bubble Bath, Pool Party or Fresh Fresia instead of white/vanilla.  Try it!  I challenge you!
