I shared many card ideas using 2" X 3" panels layered on 2-1/8" X 3-1/8" cardstock pieces in this week's Fast or Frugal Friday video. (The link to the video is below). I opted for the 2-1/8" measurement because it leaves very small scraps from a 4-1/4" (by 5-1/2") piece of cardstock--which is a quarter sheet.
This card was in my YouTube thumbnail. For my other cards I only used 2 of the layer panels, so this is actually my third card. The Peach Pie floral piece was a scrap that I mounted on a Timid Tiger panel.
Here I used the oval shown in the video with one of the 2-1/8" X 3-1/8" panels without patterned paper to highlight my stamping and sentiment.
Notice the envelope!
This was a 'happy little mistake'! I mis-scored my card base, so I cut about 1/2" of the bottom of the front flap, then I stamped my sentiment on the exposed inside of the card. Coordinating gems finished off my card. I like how you can clearly see the cheery flowers on the patterned paper.
This was my first card using the 2" X 3" panels. I used scraps of Basic Gray, so these layers are 2-1/4" X 3-1/4", not a frugal use of a piece of cardstock, really.
This Country Woods Designer Series Paper coordinates with so many different elements, don't you think? Here I paired it with the Inspiring Imperfections bundle.
