Freshly Made Sketch 698 Meets 2025-2027 In Colors

When I saw this sketch my first thought was 'paper scraps'!  I'll be adding this to my 'go to' card layouts.  It'll be a good one when you have that piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) with your favorite image that you just can toss or cut down to a smaller scrap.  Let your favorite image shine!

So far, I've made these 3 cards.  I'm featuring 2025-2027 In Colors because most products that contain any one of these colors is on sale this month (August 2025).  My final card uses the Memories & More Card Pack found on page 31 in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog.  It includes Timid Tiger, so it's also part of the In Color sale during August.

Cloud Cover Card Base
I used 3 patterns in the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper for the rectangles, and I layer the one on the bottom to set it apart.

Strawberry Slush Card Base

One of my rectangles is an embossed piece of cardstock.  I used the Pressed Flowers embossing folder.  The other 2 are patterns in the Floral Impressions DSP.

Berry Burst Base

These are the Celebration Expressions Memories & More cards cut down like you would Designer Series Paper.
Notice my Timid Tiger narrow strip that I embossed?  I thought the card need a little more texture.

AND the sequins I used can be found in the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins pack, ALSO on sale because it was a Sale-a-bration 2025 product that is in the Last Chance section until September 2025.

  2. I absolutely agree with you on sketches that work with dsp! I'm a fairly clean cardmaker but if I have some small panels to add favorite papers, I love it! The sentiments you've used on each of your cards are just perfect for the look of the card. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
