Welcome to my Website: North Star Stamper

Christmas Card for April 2026 using Hope Love & Joy Stamp Set and a Sketch

I recently purchased the Hope Love & Joy bundle.  You'll find it on page 52 of the January - April 2026 catalog.  I was on the fence about purchasing it, until I heard Evie DiPiazza share the background of the set.  Evie is a Million Sales achiever, an accomplishment reached by only 1% of all Stampin' Up! demonstrators!  As an achiever, the demonstrator gets to help design a stamp set.  Evie shared that love, hope and joy are/were important in her marriage and her life, especailly as her husband battled cancer.  Knowing that about the images in the set, led me to purchase it so I can spread love, hope and joy with projects I make with the bundle.

I was a little surprised by the size of the dies.  They are quite small.  But thinking about it, they do cut out the pieces that can replace the "O" in our focus words, so I should have expected them to be small.  The letters are solid images, so you might need to use a stamp positioner to get a good image.  A well-inked ink pad will help with the solid images, too.

I used this week's Freshly Made Sketch as well.  We are up to number 733!  That's a lot of sketches!!

A few notes:

-I used the water painter with Misty Moonlight ink to color the water on the globe just a bit.
-The glimmer paper is on the Last Chance list and is only available while supplies last.
-I used a past Paper Pumpkin stamp set for the 'to the world'.  I found it easily because  I recently organized my Paper Pumpkin stamps by theme.

Until next time, Happy Stampin'!
