Corner Fold Card

I was asked for the dimensions for this card after posting it on a reel.  I must have sent the orginal card, so I created another one and I made it the featured card during my video on April 27, 2026.

I learned to make this card during a Card Makers Success Summit this past February from Erin Reed's presentation.

I had all kinds of trouble making this fun fold. I found Specialty Designer Series Paper and standard cardstock to be too heavy and had trouble getting the folds just right.   My recommendation is to use regular Designer Series Paper (DSP) or two-tone cardstock.

This was made during my April 27, 2026 video using Wood Grain Wonders Design Series Paper, Words & Wishes dies (the words and shadows), Spotlight on Nature dies (the circles), and the Unbridled Beauty stamp set.  

For this next card, I used a Designer Series Paper that I earned from a Stampin' Up! sales challenge.  The Everyday Arches and Words & Wishes dies are available to everyone.  The present stamps are in the Words & Wishes stamp set that will be in the May - August 2026 catalog.

Again, I used the Everyday Arches for my focal point on this card.

When scoring the diagonal, be sure the score will be through the intersection of the 2 previous score lines.  This will ensure that your card will fold neatly.

Decorate the card as much as you'd like.  I can think of lots of ideas for this one.  Hope you enjoy making it, too!
