Welcome to my Website: North Star Stamper

All the Cards from my Let's Stamp video and more

Stamps, ink and paper--there's nothing better, in my opinion.  Here's a few cards I made using the Simply Leaves stamp set and a just a couple with the coordinating punch.

These are from my video, where I stamped the green leaves on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  My inks were Soft Sea Foam, Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce.

Not sure I like that rectangle!  I might change it before I send or donate it.

Ideas started to come when I moved away from the rounded rectangles.  I used the narrow strip as a decorative element.

For this sentiment, I think I stamped off twice before stamping the veins on the punched piece.

For these last 2, I cut narrow panels and kept them simple.  They might be my favorite ones.

Next are the purple ones that I showed in pieces in the video.

I'm not quite sure why, but I do like the rectangles on these cards.

Next are the 2 cards I showed at the beginning of the video.  I wanted to show how just embossing the Pecan Pie panel changes the card.

And finally, I know it's silly but Kleenex boxes inspire me, too!

I see Timid Tiger, Lemon Lolly and Coastal Cabana.  I switched to Daffodil Delight and then actually used Darling Duckling two-toned paper on my card.

Here's the 1/2 sheet panel I stamped.

And finally my cards.

Do you remember this layout?!  It's from Creativity Now 2022!  Creativity Now is an annual, demo-only, crafting-only, virtual event.  This year's is coming up in early August.

A few notes about these supplies.

  • Many of the embellishments, maybe all of them, are retired--sorry.
  • My two-tone cardstock mostly comes from multi-color packs.  The ones used here did.  They were both in the Memories in Bloom pack.
  • The small leaf dies I used on the last card were made with a die set I had on my table.  We both probably have several die set that would have worked.
