Welcome to my Website: North Star Stamper

BIrthday Day Card for July 2026 using Freshly Made Sketch #745

Because my die cut pieces were almost ready to go, this card came together quickly.  Also thanks to Freshly Made Sketches this week!

I've included a couple extra photos to remind you of techniques you may have forgotten!

First my card.  With the prints and die cuts, I decided not to include a sentiment on the front.  Oh!  I could have added an embellishment -- or 3.

Being a square card, I made an envelope out of Designer Series Paper using my envelope punch board.  The floral spray is on dimensionals so the flap tucks behind it to close.

This stamp actually says 'Happy Birthday to my'.  The lines are far apart enough that I easily inked and stamped only 'Happy Birthday', so I could add 'to you' to my card.

This fern frond was already die cut with white cardstock and it had adhesive sheet on the back, too!  I used Peaceful Pine ink and a blending brush on the die cut before I removed it from this piece.  I saved this negative piece so I can use it as a mask on another project.  I'm keeping it in the envelope with the dies.

I used retired Old Olive twine.  I could have used Linen Thread or even colored another twine with Old Olive reinker.

I'm including Mossy Meadow cardstock in my product list, but that die cut piece was actually from the After Hours event I attended at our convention in March.
