Welcome to my Website: North Star Stamper

Fun Fold card made from a Sketch

I was live on YouTube and wanted to create a simple fun fold.  So I started with the current Freshly Made Sketch and made one slight alteration and made it into a fun fold.

Here's my card from the video, but I added rhinestones after the video.  I was distracted, being my first time streaming while creating.

Here is my first card just seeing how this alteration would work.  I used a simple ink technique, too on my flowers.  I share that in my video, too.

Here's the Sketch and link to the Freshly Made Sketch blog post.

Follow the link above to see how others created with the sketch.

A quick explanation of my card:
-Start with a standard A2 cardbase of 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  Cut 2" off the bottom of the front flap.  That 2" piece could be used for your 5 elements on the front.
-Start with a layer that is 4" X 5 1/4".  Cut in half at 2", creating 2 pieces of 2" X 5 1/4".
-I added an insert of Basic White that was 2" X 5 1/4".
-One layer piece goes on the front top flap.  The other goes on the bottom of the inside of your card.
-The insert goes inside your card above the layer piece.

See my video if you need a visual.

  1. What a wonderful idea to add the sketch to a fun fold! I love both with the balloons and with the flowers! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
