Events Summer 2025

I have attended 4 demonstrator-only events since June.  They have been so much fun.  I am energized by spending time with others, talking about stamping and being creative.

Creativity Now

Stampin' Up! sponsored 2 virtual events.  Creativity Now was in June.  If we registered, we were able to purchase the Peaceful Garden suite early.  (It's shown on pages 32-37 in the September - December 2025 mini catalog.)  We then used the suite when we created together.  This has been an annual event the past few years.  We don't talk about business at all, just creating together, virtually, and we get to see sneak peeks and other presentations about our products.   Sometimes I get together with others and watch the presentations together.  So our virtual event becomes a local mini event.

I made the Creativity Now projects with Peaceful Garden suite and Floral Impressions suite.  Here are a couple of them.

Craft Along Event

The other event Stampin' Up! hosted was just recently in our demonstrator-only, private Facebook group.  We were told to have Designer Series Paper (DSP) and coordinating products.  I posted about this event HERE.  People from the home office in Salt Lake City, Utah, led us though making the cards on page 42 of the mini catalog.  I had been invited to my team leader's home to watch the video together.  It was fun seeing how others took the ideas presented using different products and made beautiful cards.

Here are a few we made using the Painterly Pears suite, the Kintsugi Inspirations suite and Floral Impressions DSP and the retired Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. Shari, who used the sunflower products, and I did not get all of our cards done that night, so I didn't get pictures of all three cards together for those.  See my linked blog post above for all 6 of my cards.

I'm sharing what the intended technique was for each card.  We didn't necessarily use that technique on our cards.

Card #1:  Ink your Background DSP

Card #2:  Color in the DSP, but none of us had DSP that we could do that with.

Card #3:  Large die cut

Card #4:  Die cut from DSP and add 2 stripes of foil

Card #5:  DSP banners.  I have since learned that we were supposed to stamp on DSP for our sentiment.

Card #6:  Make a plaid by adding lines to your DSP

Appleton, Wisconsin Event

Stampin' Up! employees organized events here in the Midwest and I was able to attend the one in Appleton, Wisconsin in July.  We were joined by 2 employees, Shannon and Genevieve.  Shannon had asked me to demonstrate something during the event.  These were a few of my samples using Positive and Negative Masking.

I swapped this card in Appleton.

Minnesota Creative Connections Event

This is a twice annual event put on by Stampin' Up! leaders here in Minnesota.  We see presentations using new products, share swaps and see lots of samples to inspire each other.
This was my swap for the event.  I die cut the tree in acetate and used that as a mask to color the stamped image with small blending brushes.  It was lots of fun to vary the colors on each card.

These events are just some of the benefits of being a demonstrator.  I love having my team and my team leader to chat with about stamping.  Stampin' Up! offers group training, too where I meet demonstrators from all over the world.  Being a demonstrator enriches my life like I never imagined it would.
