New Mini Catalog Product Blog Hop- August 2021

I am enjoying these blog hops;  I learn so much from other demonstrators.  I'm sure my Wish List will grow after seeing everyone's projects using new products from the fall 2021 mini catalog and Sale-a-bration! For both of my cards, I have highlighted the large single flower from the Harvest dies found in the mini catalog and the Textures & Frames stamp set a Sale-a-bration item. I have also used a card sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  It is the 500th sketch they have shared! You can see other cards made with this sketch here . My first card is a z-fold card created by scoring an 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" card base along the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4" and 2-1/8". My decorative piece behind the cone flower die cut was created by stamping on a piece of water color paper with the Textures & Frames stamp set covering most of the paper.  Then I spritzed this piece with water so that colors bled together.   This is the piece before I spritzed it.  I like to leav

Freshly Made Sketch 499--with Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper

I loved this clean sketch from Freshly Made Sketches .  It's #499--I'm anxious to see sketch #500! The stripes in this designer series paper caught my eye right away.  Adding the large Happy Birthday from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set made for a very quick card. Christmas Card--Made during Facebook Live August 2, 2021

I am now creating a Christmas project the first Monday of every month during my Facebook Live until December, at least.  During my video I first showed most of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from both the July-December 2021 (fall mini) catalog and the Sale-a-bration brochure.  There are so many fun options for our craft projects! As I mention in the video, stamp sets like Christmas Season are my favorite types of sets.  We used call them 2-step stamping, where stamps layer on one another.  This set can be used for fall cards, too, so don't limit yourself to just Christmas projects with all the pinecones and greenery.  I'm thinking of a lot of masculine birthday cards I can make!  With the Christmas Season stamp set, you could stamp your own patterned paper quite easily.  You could even replicate several of the patterned in the Painted Christmas DSP pack. Here's the video I referred to: And here are the products I used on the card: Painted Christmas 12" X 12"
