 I learned of a card drive being organized by a paper crafter in TX who goes by Bitty Penny.  What a great way to share what we love.  Here are the details. Christmas Card for May 2022--Updated with 6 cards!

I decided at the last minute, literally hours before they left, to go on vacation with my husband and our boys.  Needless to say, the card I have planned for this month's Christmas inspiration is still only an idea in my head.  It was on the list of cards to create while they were gone--honest! I will tell you that I'll be using the Christmas Season stamp set with Parakeet Party, Shaded Spruce,  and Sweet Sorbet. I should be able to create the card and get it posted before the weekend.    I hope you come back to see my card.  Maybe I'll even make more than one.  We'll see! UPDATE!!! I decided to SYOPP--Stamp Your Own Patterned, with these stamps and ink colors.  I started with an 8" X 9" piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock and randomly stamped my images making sure to stamp off the edges and overlapping somewhat.  I then cut that piece into 6 - 3" X 4" pieces.   I tried to share a variety of ways to use t

SYOPP--Stamp Your Own Patterned Paper

 My Stampin' Up! demo friend, Jennifer Merle-Hamscher hosts Mystery Stamping every month.  Last week, she walked us through stamping our own patterned paper and 2 cards using the paper we stamped. If you'd like to join us next month, she can be found at Whispers in Ink.  Mystery Stamping is the second Friday of the  month in her Mystery Card Night and Games group. This is what I created--6 cards!  I even remembered to stamp the inner layer and my envelopes. I sent my sister a photo of what I was working on, so I just pulled this photo from Facebook.  I forgot to take a better photo before I cut it up. I used Starry Sky, Bermuda Bay and Flirty Flamingo ink with the Artistically Inked and Botanical Layers stamp sets.  I did add a few more flowers on the small pieces before adding them to the cards.  Do what works for your projects! A few tips on SYOPP: -use at least 3 colors, or 3 variations of a color (by stamping off) -overlap your stamped images.  You can still leave white spa
